Research on Successful Transition Practices & Policies

This module will focus on part one of the Transitions framework which is “Research on Successful Practices and Policy.” Objectives of the training:

1.) Become familiar with Los Angeles County’s work on transition systems alignment from preschool to kindergarten

2.) Understand how Ecological Systems Theory and Head Start’s Approach to School Readiness, together with local County data provided the foundation for a countywide transition framework

3.) Identify transition policy recommendation
